Brain Invasion
Overview
This project was inspired by my love for video games. The goal here was to use PowerPoint unconventionally and what better way than to create a unique experience through an interactive game.
Challenges
PowerPoint is largely perceived as a generic presentation software; however, it has three interactive tools: hyperlinks, rollovers, and triggers. The challenge here was to create a gaming experience keeping the limitations of the application in mind.

Process
Story
The starting point of this project was to come up with a compelling story that would set the gamers on a quest to save the planet from an alien invasion.
Game Design
The goal was to keep the player immerse in the game without distracting them from the main quest. The answer was simple character design with subtle animation and communication using vibrant colors, clear typography, and smart visuals.
Level Design
Each level in the game challenges the players to think outside the box and some of the answers are hidden in plain sight while other requires them to pay close attention. Each question uses one of the three interactive tools mentioned above to create the experience that the level demands.
